6 Push JerksToday (Friday) is the 63rd day of the year. We’ve made it through 2 months… and here’s the big question… what do you have to show for it thus far?
Here’s my personal update. Primary objective at the start of January was to heal my left shoulder (a nagging injury that doesn’t need surgery per K-star). I’ve done this by not doing any movement in a workout that causes pain, and mobilizing daily. It is MUCH better, though not at 100% (may require another visit up to my PT extraordinaire). My secondary objective was to keep workout intensity a 75% in prep for the CF Games Open. Did this for about 6 weeks, have started coming out of it, and am feeling great. Looking forward to the 6 week competition! Finally, in January, I started taking COLD showers… to boost my immune system and speed recovery time… and prove to myself that “I can”. I’ve kept that up every single day since… not sure if it’s working, but am continuing as if it is.
