Renegade Rows (2 count)Saturday was INCREDIBLY productive day in the Los Angeles CrossFit world. It’s not every day that you get to be part of an event that does a whole ton of good for others… well on Saturday, we were!
About 20 CFLAers along with participants from 35 other CrossFit affiliates descended on downtown Culver City for Crush Cancer 2013. Each of us sweated through the workout – 17 minutes of double-unders, power cleans, push press, kettlebell swings and burpees. But more importantly, collectively we raised almost a quarter of a million dollars for cancer research. Wow! Now that’s doing something!
My heartfelt thanks, congratulations and gratitude for all the work that went into creating and putting an event like this on goes out to Dogtown CrossFit and more specifically, Josh Gallegos, Adam Noble, Dusty Hyland, Liz Burns… and the rest of the volunteers out there. Great job to all!
