Beauty in my Food

 In Food

When I look at the above bowl of food I see real beauty. Not in the bowl itself, but the content.  I see a rainbow of fruits and vegetables. It’s pleasing to my eye and pretty guaranteed  to be pleasing to my mouth and belly!  When I eat I want my food to be aesthetically beautiful. When I design a plate I take care to arrange things in a way that look nice. I try to add color and texture to make a dish feel good when I eat it. Seeing my food looking good is part of enjoying all of its beauty and nutrients.

Above my salad has baby kale, quinoa, radishes, tomatoes, green onions, carrots, curried garbanzo beans, avocado and hemp seeds, dressed in Trader Joe’s thyme honey balsamic dressing.
