Big Surprises

Monday morning brought everyone out to the gym to participate in our Labor Day morning workout – Trevor! There were lots of surprises (not the least of which were Mike’s Daisy Dukes) – 80 students showed up to participate, we had some great costumes, a ton of spirit and fun, and 20 awesome competitive teams. One of the biggest surprises for me, however, is that in spite of the years I have been doing CrossFit, I have not been able to reach over my head or straighten my arms for 2 days now! Just when I thought I’d lost touch with every intro who has told me about not being able to walk or shampoo their hair for days after their baseline, I get hit like it was my first time. Just goes to show ya, there’s always room for improvement.
