Today’s Workout

“Squat Ladder”
Using a 45 pound bar, and a continuously running stopwatch, complete 1 squat the first minute, 2 squats the second, 3 the third, etc. Continue until you can no longer complete the requisite number of squats in the 60 second period.

1- 10 – Overhead squat
11- 20 – Front Squat
21+ back squat

– Score is total rounds complete & # reps in final roundWe’ve had visitors this week from Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Sweeden, New Mexico, Virginia, Texas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Kentucky, Ohio (to name a few)… just a smattering of the many we’re going to see starting tomorrow at the CrossFit Games. If you’re in town for the Games and would like to get in a WOD, drop in any time… we have classes as usual this week and weekend. We’d love to see you here!

Tomorrow starts the epic competition to crown the World’s Fittest Man, Woman and Team (by the way, we got some coverage for the CrossFit Games on ABC News – check it out here) If you were a gambling person, who would your money be on? For me… gotta go with experience and a the guy with a 527 Fight Gone Bad score – Mikko Salo… but I think Rob Orlando AND Jason Khalipa are going to give him a run for his money! Lets hear it – what do you guys think? What about the women? And the affiliate team?
