In the photo below, Chris is demonstrating an “L” sit – one of the most difficult isometric (no movement) exercises we do. It requires a tremendous amount of strength throughout the torso, as well as a surprising amount of hip flexor recruitment. Get good at these and a washboard isn’t far behind!
