Don’t feel like it?

OK – it’s the end of a long workday, you have another long day tomorrow, and you really don’t feel like doing that workout that you had planned. What do you do?

If I had $1 for every time I started a workout when I really didn’t FEEL like it, I’d be a very rich man! Here’s my advice – get to the gym (or the location of your workout), put your workout clothes on, and just get started. Warm up slowly – go through the motions, get your body moving. If after 10 minutes of warming up and stretching you still don’t feel like it – bag it – save yourself for a better day. Chances are, at that point, you will feel like it, AND you’ll feel way better once you’re finished.

Champions are those that don’t FEEL like doing something, then do it anyway!

Try this: Do as many lunges (count each step as 1 lunge) and push ups as you can in 20 minutes. Any rep / rest scheme you’d like. Learn to manage your work/rest for peak efficiency.
