Today’s Workout

CrossFit Games Open 11.4

Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 10 minutes of:
60 Bar-facing burpees
30 Overhead squats (120/90)
10 Muscle-ups While reading one of my favorite blogs, The Happiness Project, I came across an interesting list. This list is an outline of “Fellowship Assets” that Frank Lloyd Wright gave to his apprentices at his school and studio, Taliesin.

It struck me as a good list of qualities for those pursuing CrossFit, as well. It most certainly takes honesty and heart to commit one’s self to CrossFit. A sense of humor goes a long way, as does courage. And without a doubt we are rebels when it comes to the norms in food and exercise…and because of that we are a community.

Check out the list — what do you think? Any other basic attributes that you would add?

1. An honest ego in a healthy body.
2. An eye to see nature
3. A heart to feel nature
4. Courage to follow nature
5. The sense of proportion (humor)
6. Appreciation of work as idea and idea as work
7. Fertility of imagination
8. Capacity for faith and rebellion
9. Disregard for commonplace (inorganic) elegance
10. Instinctive cooperation
