50 Kettlebell Cleans (24/16)

50 Kettlebell Snatches

50 Kettlebell SwingsHow fresh is your training? OK, so I know we’re all CrossFItters here, and variety is built into our programming. But really, how much variety are you including in what you do? Are you outdoors learning and playing new sports? Have you picked up a new skill in the past 6 months? Are you showing up for workouts at CFLA specifically because the WOD includes things you’re either not good at or don’t think you need? Have you identified an area in which you need to improve and started practicing in that area 10 minutes each day?

If the answer to any of these was “No,” you should really re-consider why you’re CrossFitting. Routine is the enemy of both the mind and body, brought on by laziness… you must fight it relentlessly… don’t get drawn into it’s tempting grip. If you are doing the same things day after day, you must ask yourself why? Keep it fresh. Keep it fun. Keep it interesting. Keep it different.
