Fight Gone Bad IV is coming… and this year its going to be bigger and better than ever! let me give you a little background. About 4 years ago, my friend, Scott Zagarino, and I sat down on the floor of our old gym, Petranek Fitness. Scott had been newly hired by the Prostate Cancer Foundation to lead their efforts in sports fundraising – and we started shooting around ideas about creating a CrossFit fundraising event… and then it hit us – what about the Fight Gone Bad? The first year, CrossFitters raised about $200k, in year two, $500k, last year $1 million… and this year… well, anything is possible!

At CrossFit LA, we’ll begin registration and FGB IV workouts and training on Friday, August 14th. Every Friday until September 26th, we’ll be doing the Fight Gone Bad workout. Each week we’ll be changing the workout slightly so that by the time the event comes around, you’ll be more than prepared. We also welcome all of you to bring anyone that wants to participate in the fundraising effort to any Friday workout. The requirement to participate is to raise $100 AND to come to at least 2 practice FGB workouts. These are FREE to non-CFLA members – as long as you are already registered as a fundraiser. We had almost 100 participants last year… do I hear 200 this year??
