Three rounds for time of:
15 Seated Dumbbell Shoulder Press (40/25)
2 rope climbsI know, I know… you don’t want to look like one of “those” guys… big, beefy, and freakishly strong. You know, the guys like Mark Bell – who holds the record for the highest Total (Squat, Dead, & Bench) in California. Just in case you didn’t realize it, it would take you YEARS and YEARS and YEARS of training and eating to allow you to lift that much weight and to look anything like him. Go ahead… just let it go.
But here’s what you should be thinking about… “How can I learn from a guy like Mark Bell? What are some of the weightlifting techniques I can learn to help improve my deadlift, squat, press? What does he do that I can be doing to make me a stronger athlete? What can I incorporate into my current training to make me more well rounded?” If you’re thinking about these things, you’ll definitely want to come to our Powerlifting 2-Day Event this coming weekend. Saturday night, a Director’s Screening of Bigger, Stronger, Faster… and Sunday a powerlifting workshop with Mark Bell. Don’t miss either!
A movie that will challenge your beliefs about performance enhancement in sports.
