Complete 2 rounds for max reps with a partner of
3 minutes Box Jumps (24/20)
1 minute rest
3 minutes 1-arm Dumbbell Thrusters (45/30)
1 minute rest
3 minutes Sit-ups
– only 1 person may be working at a timeNext Friday is the start of the 2011 CrossFit Games. We have the unique opportunity to have this event in our back yard (ok, it’s more than 5 minutes away, but compared to people in Oklahoma, it’s right here!) and I recommend that you consider attending as PART of your training. Really? Yes… it’s even MORE important than a workout that weekend (go ahead, take a weekend off!) Why? Seeing virtuosity, mastery, and elite level athletes training and competing, in person, is inspiring, and will serve you in helping you create a vision for yourself, consciously or subconsciously. Consider the world of art, music, or philosophy… if you are studying in any of these areas, it’s a given that you attend galleries, showings, concerts, performances, debates, talks, openings. Why? Seeing is believing, being in the presence of masters, and absorbing virtuosity is crucial to your own growth and is part of the process of learning.
