100 Double-unders, then

2 Power Clean (AHAP)
2 Front Squat
2 Push Press
2 Back Squat
2 Behind the neck Push Press
then complete workout with 100 Double-unders
-15 minute cap

30 Box Jump (24/20)Sometimes the going just gets tough. Sometimes when the going gets tough, I get super tunnel-visioned, bear down, and try to dig myself out of whatever hole I’m in. Most of the time I also tend to put my head into another hole and don’t imagine that talking to people will help. It’s just my work that has to be done, so how could anyone else who can’t do my job possible help me out?

There are 3 things I don’t do for myself when I’m stressed — work out, eat, or talk to people. Recently my girls at work, Niki and Lauren, have been “forcing” me to come out of my office and sit between them while I work. Then they’ll pull me out of my chair and “make” me work out with them at noon. When they go to get lunch they know to ask me if I “forgot” food and if they can pick me up some lunch. These are things that make a huge difference in my day and that I would NEVER do left to my own devices when I’m stressed out.

Having my people and having them know what I’m up to and up against really helps. Do you have people like that?
