Get Change

Although I’m bummed to have missed the fun of the Buddy Battle, divinity of a Bondsy-Q, and hilarity of Thor honking Chip’s Miyata, I have had some full days here in London.

I came to London to say goodbye and moderate a memorial service for my friend Chris Moore (some of you may know him from the Barbell Shrugged Podcast).  The event itself was supposed to be the launching date of his book tour. Instead people came from all over England, France, Poland, Latvia and Sweden to say to pay their respects.  Chris’ impact was deep.  Chris was one of those people that you simply felt like you knew forever within a few minutes. A powerlifter, turned podcaster turned author Chris followed the voice that told him to grow, evolve, and change – which is exactly the lesson I need at this point in my life.
