In case you haven’t heard, the CrossFit Games are coming up in July, and this year, in order to compete as an individual, you have to take part in a regional qualifier. For Southern California, the Regionals are April 18-19 in Huntington Beach, CA. As of today, Zeb, Burch and I are registered… and there is a rumor out there that Gretchen and Becca are considering it as well!

Since there are only 6 male, and 6 female spots up for grabs, it’s going to be difficult to qualify. The good news is that there is also an AFFILIATE CUP. Each Affiliate is allowed to bring ONE team of 6 people that must be composed of at least 2 men and 2 women. We will be choosing our team later this spring – watch for details!

Today’s Workout

21-15-9 rep rounds of
“L” sit (hold for seconds)
GHD Sit-ups
Knees to Elbows
Abmat “curl-ups”

*note – an Abmat curl-up is done like an Abmat sit-up, except your legs are up in the air, bent at the knees like you’re doing a crunch. When you curl up, try to reach your fingertips as far forward as possible – past your toes, if possible. This is a SLOW movement, pause at the top for at least 1 second.
