Out with the bad…

And in with the good!

Over the last year I have been participating in the dating app craze, known as TINDER.  Yes, I will admit it, I’ve been on Tinder for a long time.  Did I have much success you ask?  NO.  I don’t know what the reason is, but it’s just not for me.  I even tried two other similar dating apps called Hinge and Bumble.  I know there are other members out there trying this, so you all may feel my pain, or maybe you are crushing it, either way, it can be frustrating at times.

Over this past weekend, I decided to let go, and to remove the apps from my phone, due to the reason that they were causing much more anxiety and frustration than good.  This was quite liberating from me, as I don’t have to feel that discouragement any more.

Some of the time, we endure pain and suffering due to the things that we CAN control, yet we choose not to.  Instead, we choose to keep these causes close to us, not wanting to give them up, for whatever reason.

It’s important to be self-aware of your thoughts and feelings, and to recognize when something isn’t working, and to gain the strength to make change.  Change is hard, but change is good!

If there is anything out there that is causing struggle in your life, take a good hard look and decide if it’s really worth it, then make a responsible and rational decision on whether it’s beneficial for you or not, you may notice a change immediately in how you feel.
