Perfect Form, Fast

When meeting someone for dinner, in which camp do you belong… a) On time, or b) Correct location?

I certainly hope that when you’re meeting for dinner, you want to be both on time AND at the right place! How about in CrossFit… can you have both? Does having perfect form necessitate slowing down? One thing that’s for sure, as you approach your work capacity, your form necessarily breaks down… so how exactly do you balance the two? Some of it depends on your experience and confidence and your ability to feel, neurologically, when your form breaks down. Some of it depends on the weight, your range of motion, and the movement.

What am I looking for as your coach? Perfect form, then speed… and sometimes, depending on the workout and situation, just the opposite. And… I reserve the right to change my mind any time. (I really hope you weren’t looking for a definitive answer!)
