– time cap: 25 minutesHave you ever been in a dark alley or deserted parking garage, walking back to your car after a movie, date, or night out with your friends? How about walking your dogs at night, or gone alone to a walk-up ATM machine at night? In In any of these situations, have you ever wondered what you’d do if you got jumped by someone wanting to harass, rob, or accost you? If you haven’t ever thought about it, it’s about time you did… not to be paranoid, but to be prepared. And “thinking about it” doesn’t quite do it, you really need to know what to do… both to prevent yourself from ever getting into that situation, and if you do, what actual, realistic things (as opposed to a flying reverse twisting karate chop knee kick roundabout to the temple) you can do.
On Thursday, May 12th, 6:45-9:15pm, Jade Marsh will be with us at CFLA to talk about and teach these techniques. Jade is 7-year police department veteran, defense tactics instructor and all-around guru in the areas of avoiding and ending unwanted violent encounters. I’ve taken his seminar… it is brilliant in it’s simplicity, and his techniques will have a lasting effect on your preparedness. His techniques are applicable for literally anyone.
