Many of you know I’ve been off wheat now for about 2 weeks… and I’m happy to report that I’ve never felt better. Even thought I haven’t lost any weight, I feel slimmer, more streamlined and less sluggish. Also gone is the discomfort after eating a meal with bread (for which I am never satiated), bloating, gas and post-meal intestinal discomfort. Definitely a worthwhile trade-off. Then, John W. forwarded me this article from “The Little-Known Secrets about Bleached Flour” and while I’ve been off of bleached, white flour for many years, it reminds me of just how little wheat ever really did for me.
