This week is a new thing for us at CFLA. We’ve never tried Level Testing before… We decided that at a Scholl of Elite Fitness, it was important that our students have a way to measure their progress… in bite-sized increments that they can actually chew off and swallow… so that levels, though challenging, are doable. Level 1 and Level 2 are designed to be skill based, so that a well rounded CrossFitter can make it through after doing the requisite skill work. Levels 3 and 4 add intensity and fitness to the mix, so that not only do you have to have the skill, but you need the fitness, strength and endurance to make it through to the finish.

Classes this week are both TRAINING days and COMPETITION days – it really depends on what you’re personally ready for. If you’re ready to test yourself at a level, then, of course, it’s competition. If you’re not yet ready for a level test, then it’s training – and it’s your choice what you work on that is in service to your growth toward passing the next appropriate level test.

The most important thing about this week is that you participate… join us. Choose the level that you feel is most appropriate, and go for it. We’re looking forward to seeing you here!
