Janine demonstrates her kipping technique. As you can see in the first photo, her shoulders and hips start way forward of the bar. Her shoulders swing back quickly and powerfully which is accompanied by a powerful thrust with the hips (picture 2). Notice how her arms are still straight! Photo 3 shows how she is approaching the bar and her body is almost horizontal – look how high her hips are! Lastly, she pulls her upper body in toward the bar and gets her chin over. This is how its done.
