The Omnivore’s Dilemma

Where does your food come from? And no, I don’t mean what restaurant or supermarket; rather, where does it originate from? How does what an animal eats effect your health and diet? What’s the deal with corn? Organic, local farmers, or processed foods – is there really a difference? And what about hunting and gathering? These are just a few of the topics Michael Pollan tackles in his book, “The Ominvore’s Dilemma.” I read it and was particularly amazed by the grass farmers – and how every part of their farm has a cause and effect relationship on every other part. I loved it! The whole book, that is! If you read it, let us know what you think!
