Top 5 reasons you should consider joining the Oak Park Tri Team

#5 You are already 75% there…the programming model at Oak Park has allowed numerous athletes build a strong foundation in strength, power and speed. Moreover, our current training cycle has focused on running fundamentals.  The Tri Team’s training program will incorporate cycling and swimming with the same methods.

#4 Worried about your “limiter” sport(s)? For most, this is usually the Swim…know that even seasoned triathletes neglect their Swim training.  Every Sunday, starting April 8, the Oak Park Tri Team will have private lanes reserved at the Santa Monica Swim Center.  We’ll have workouts for veterans and comprehensive lessons for new triathletes!

#3 Have no idea what triathlon is about? Do not fret, we’ll cover everything from training equipment to how to navigate through a triathlon transition area…and so much more!

#2  The goal event:  The International San Diego Triathlon, June 24th.
The Swim is situated in the clam marina waters of downtown San Diego.  Athletes will be treated to scenic vistas on the bike course and a stellar point to point run along the water’s edge.

There’s an event for every one…
Sprint: .5k Swim – 20k Bike – 6k Run
Internationl: 1k Swim – 30k Bike – 10k Run
Aqua Bike: 1k Swim – 20k Bike
