You’ve probably heard that on Saturday we’re spending our last Philanthropic Throwdown, Open 14.5, at Trojan CrossFit with three other gyms that have also been raising money for the Aspire Center. Exciting stuff – think of it as a field trip! — yet, honestly we really don’t know what to expect. The exact details are still a bit vague until the logistics of the workout are figured out. Look for an email on Friday afternoon with more details.

So, what do we know about the event? We know where to go (CLICK HERE for the address). We know that the context of competition will be heightened simply because of the presence of other gyms and their good athletes. We know we’ve raised money for an important cause. After that there’s really only one other aspect that’s a sure thing: Us and how we do things. Can any other gym rival our ability to BRING IT THE SPIRIT? The only thing we can control is our own energy. What’s not vague or unclear is CFLA’s ability to have fun and breathe LIFE into whatever we do. For that, I’m most excited.

Wear your CFLA gear. Bring your wigs and tutu’s and face paint. Be ready to dance and cheer your guts out and let’s have our same ol’ blast, just somewhere else.
