What Will You Choose To Believe?

 In Blog

As the NCAA Tournament is set to kick off, I get chills when I see highlights of memorable moments from past years. There’s Texas A&M’s 12-point comeback in the final 44 seconds and #15 Richmond’s upset of #2 Syracuse just to name a few. The tournament is a reminder that when the moment calls for it, you can step up and do the seemingly impossible. Kind of sounds like our Friday Night Lights at CFLA. Just last week Jun W. PRed his squat snatch at 135lb during the Open workout with half the gym watching and cheering him on.

I hope stories like these encourage you to discard any perceived limitations you might have by filling yourself with 100% belief and effort in whatever you pursue. The gym is a place to practice this. Each workout you do presents the choice whether or not to believe you can move faster, lift heavier, or complete more reps. You are always making this choice, even if it’s subconscious, and your actions typically follow the chosen belief. So, what will you choose to believe?
