This is a video of our 6:30pm class doing as many burpees as they can in 1 minute. Michael Stanwyk (in the foreground on the left) topped everyone with 24.
A friend and fellow CrossFit coach, Dave Werner, of CrossFit North, Seattle, Washington, came up with these standards to help people figure out the age old question, “Just exactly how fit am I?” I find it to be a valuable resource, a great reference for determining where you are, and a great tool for setting goals.
You will find that you have certain areas you are pretty good in, and others that need improvement. I suggest that you work on improving the weaknesses. Like a knight going into battle, you are only as strong as the weakest point in your coat of armor. Train your weaknesses until you haven’t any. Click this link to download – Athletic Skill Standards
